Awesome service and food. Multiple locations around the Bay Area. one of my favorite spots in the bay to get a consistently good Philly!

4 stars for the food 2 star for the service Called 8:30 for pick up and the lady told me they are closing at 9 pm. I told her that I am 10 minutes away and will be there to pick up before it even close. It usually takes 15 minutes to prep the order and I didn't wanna wait. She was rude and told me "no" and hung up the phone. Food is great, one of my fave steak sandwich place (will write another review later on that)

I'm surprised I haven't rated this place before. I've been coming to this place for years. They're consistent and taste absolutely delicious. I normally get a normal 7 inch sub, but today I went with the 10 inch. I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with bacon. I will say I didn't taste too much bacon on it. I also ordered a side of onion rings with sweet and spicy peppers on my sandwich. I don't know if it was just the time we went (right before they closed) but the tables this time around were kinda a mess. The girl working there ended up cleaning it up though eventually. The staff is friendly and like I said the food is consistent albeit on the pricier side. I will continue to come here once in awhile when I have a hankering for some Philly Cheese Steak!

They serve delicious cheesesteak sandwiches here. I prefer the chicken cheesesteak with mushrooms, cheese, onions and a side of steak fries. I like the steak cheesesteak too, but I try to make a healthier choice by going with the chicken. The chicken and the steak both taste great though and you really can't go wrong with either one. They employees are very friendly. I really like and feel appreciated that every time you open the door to leave they always say, "Thank you."

Ordinarily, I would have rated this place a five because they have great food and I come here all the time, however this time they got my order wrong so I went back to have them fix the problem. When I got home I found that 5 of the probably 10 peppers on my sandwhich still had long stems on them. 5 is a lot. This was obviously done on purpose at the Suisun City location. You guys just lost a customer.

I love Cheese steaks, but this one was disappointing. Had to wait almost 30 mins, which would have been fine if the food was worth the wait. There wasn't much flavor and the bun was so soggy, we threw it away. I would like to try another location since this was my first visit. The stars are for the nice, friendly guy that waited on us.

I love the cheese steak shop, been coming here for years! The closest to authentic Philly cheese steaks that u can get anywhere in our area. Tuesdays and Sundays are double stamp days where you can add up to get a free 10" cheese steak so come take advantage of the offer. A lot of other places do basic peppers or they're dry and not very flavorful, but the cheese steak shop is always delicious, juicy, full of sweet and spicy peppers, and full of flavor! Prices are also better than buying at somewhere like black bear and they have true official onion rings, not the same hard crunchy thin onion rings at fast food places.

  • Nicol M.

Great service, very polite, fast, hot, nice cheese steak! Maybe a lil less oil, but good. They thanked us when we left.

  • Meilin D.

Spicy Italian cheesesteak was delish. Onion rings were nice and crunchy, not greasy. Great service! 7" is enough with side, get 10" if you're not getting sides.

  • N R.

So disappointing. Not much flavor, not enough sauce, not enough cheese. The garlic fries weren't cooked enough. 1 star only because the guy was super nice.

  • Christopher B.

Philly cheese steak was awesome and plus employees are vert polite. The place is clean and you get a free philly on your birthday.

Was in about 1 hour ago on my way to work. Guy helping me behind the register who I assume was the manager or owner was very polite and friendly big props to him. The food was outstanding. I had the 10' Garlic Cheesesteak with grilled onions and sweet peppers to go. Sweet peppers were amazing and definitely complimented all of it. I will definitely be back. I scarfed it down in about 5 minutes. Keep doing what you guys are doing. It's perfect.

By far one of the best cheesesteak shops in town I love to get there king of Philly with mushrooms it's the best! Plus he's a tip go there on your birthday and you get a free sandwich! peace!

  • Austin I.

Hardly any meat in the sandwiches- maybe 3 tablespoons of crumbled stuff. That's a deal breaker for me. It's worse than Subway, and that's saying something! Weak onion rings. Poor layout. Never going back.

We came on a Thursday evening and order a 10" plain philly cheese and a 10" garlic philly cheese with steak fries and garlic fries combo for almost 20. - Empty! Maybe because it was Valentine's day. LOL. Perfect service! Fast and Fresh! - Inviting! I love restaurants that put pictures of their customers! O___O - Philly cheese: average. toasted bread and flavor steak. Game changer are the SAN-DEL hot and sweet peppers!! Tasty! atasteofphilly.com/index… - Huge pieces of garlic! But not quite that garlic zest like at Mandarin, how they make their garlic chicken. omg. wow. - Steak fries like Red Robin. Where the seasoning salt? - Onion rings get the job done. ordinary. you can literally count how many u have. - A bit expensive. Maybe a dollar less preferred relative to socal. There really is NO VALUE when you upgrade, 7, 10, to 15. - Stamp card! Buy 10 get 1 free Wacky Wednesdays - 50% off fries and onion rings Before you go.. :) thanks chris cheesesteakshop.com/coup…

Well Katie is the rudest person ever. My family eats chicken...ordered chicken and she called me a liar in so many words. Hmmm. This is not the first time they gave the wrong meat. She stated when she read back the order she mentioned cheesesteak with... and if I ordered chicken she would of said cheesesteak chicken...wth? I don't work for the company and don't know your policies. I am not stopping here cause I'm thoroughly irritated and insulted.

The staff tonight was friendly and made small talk. They always ask if you have a frequency card. And its solid. The quality and flavor is something you can count on. Always good.

I really enjoyed my cheese steak I'm from new York and traveled regularly to Philly. So far this is the closest I found to east coast.

    (5)
  • Jazmin R.

Second time here. The sandwiches are so good. I have never been to Philly to have an authentic Philly cheese steak but, I can only imagine they are this good. It seems like they have been around for a while and can you a bit of re-decorating. Other than that you have to eat here.

    (4)
  • R J.

Watch out, they over charge me on a meal upgrade and they won't correct the mistake even when clearly pointed out. Check your receipt.

Chicken and steak cheese with steak fries good stuff ! Really enjoy the food here and cashier is always friendly and welcoming

  • Amihan M.

Big fan of cheese steak sandwiches and this spot fit the bill. We got the 10" which was huge and stuffed with meat, onions, and hot and sweet peppers. The bread did not hold up the drive from the place to Napa and we ended up with a soggy mess, but it was still delicious. Pretty close to the real thing except that the cheese was more restrained. Otherwise it's a great find on Highway 12. We will likely stop by again and eat the sandwiches there.

One of my favorite spots when im being lazy and dont want to cook. They remember my order every time and its always delicious customer service is great always a smiling face behind the counter.

There are three Cheese Steak Shops which I frequent since they are on or near my regular travel routes: Suisun, Vacaville and San Ramon. Note that all Cheese Steak Shops are NOT created equal!!! Each is individually owned and operated and offer different menu choices (not all locations offer the full CSS menu), different pricing, and different specials. In comparing the three CSSs which I frequent the Vacaville location is the best in terms of food consistency, atmosphere, and menu selection. The staff there just seem to assemble the sandwiches better in Vacaville (San Ramon is pretty good about this too, I think it is because they both have high turnover), the place is really clean and they have patio seating. Vacaville and San Ramon also seem to offer the full franchise menu, including great salads, which unfortunately Suisun does NOT offer! Suisun also does not post their menu online (they don't even have a website) which is really too bad since I think will deter potential new customers and is also a shame since Suisun's pricing is about $0.50 cents per sandwich cheaper than most other locations! The Suisun CSS has one of the lonelier feeling locations since it is the only tenant in its building at present and is next to the gas station. I never eat on-site as a result. I dropped my rating on this CSS due to slightly inconsistent food preparation, the downbeat location, and the fact that I like the Vacaville location so much more!

  • Jennifer H.

My favorite is chicken, bacon and mushroom with extra cheese. Mouthwatering. I get both flavors peppers on the side. Tasty. The cheese is like that gooey processed awesomeness. The rolls are soft. Best eaten immediately but I've saved half for later lots of times. Chicken and bacon isn't a traditional 'cheesesteak" but if you want something really HOT and they serve 'em HOT, it hits the spot! They're messy. It's great. We love this place.

    (5)
  • Heather V.

We are frequent customers here. It's a nice little place. Never had a bad sandwich or bad experience. Food is tasty, but not 100% authenic to a real "Philly", so don't go in expecting perfection. I love the frequent visitor card and all the deals they come up with.... "Sunday is double stamp day" or "buy 3 sandwiches on Wednesday get a 4th for free". My husband and I each have our pics on the walls for celebrating our birthdays there...and got free sandwiches to boot. Yay to all that, we love free stuff!

  • Dee P.

We've been coming here for years. Food is always made fresh to order and its always so good. I usually get the Philly Cheese chicken with mushrooms and sweet peppers. Always on point! The place is clean and the drinks are self serve so you can refill while there. The only thing I would suggest is maybe put a flat screen in the dining area so people can watch games while eating.

  • Ashley L.

This place has great cheesesteaks and onion rings. I would like to give it 4 stars but the lady behind the counter was so rude. It was 15 mins before closing & she told us we would have to get the food to go. I said no, we need to eat there. We were on the way home from a very long road trip & the thought of eating in the car was not a happy one. We needed to stretch our legs for a bit. Plus they can just turn the open sign off & lock the door. I think it's wrong to tell patrons that they can't sit and eat. There's a reason it closes at 9 pm and not 8:45. They had the food made in 3 mins & we were done eating & out the door by 9:02. I can understand if we walked in one minute til or if we were in there past 9:15, but otherwise it's just rude.

    (3)
  • Jonathan R.

Been going here for years. These sandwiches are best eaten there at the store. They will always be soggy if you take them home and i live two minutes away. This is due to the cheese and the steam all wrapped up in a tight wrapper. All food is made to order so its always fresh with a little wait time. Overall a great place to go for a quick lunch.

    (5)
  • Kevin Menzel H.

I had not been to this location before, I frequented the Vacaville location, and went in for my birthday, got my free 10inch, when I got home the order was wrong, so I called and asked if I could come in and replace it, she said since I got it free, they wouldn't be able to.... Will not be going back to either location. Rude, and not helpful, when it was there fault...

    (1)
  • Mike D.

Amazingly lazy they are on Dec, 15th 2013. They would not take our takeout order at 7:30. They close at 8:00 PM. So what would they do if someone walks in at 7:55? Turn them down. I guess fat and lazy over rules all!

  • Eric M.

This place is pretty good. If you frequent the place, go there on Tuesdays or Sundays to get double stamps on your card...if you're military, you'll get quadruple stamps on those days!! The customer service has been awesome each time we've went. The owner tries to keep the place clean. The sandwiches are yummy, but if you add sweet peppers it's more scrumptious!

    (5)
  • Jamie L.

Very good food! Very good staff, very friendly. I got the chicken hoagie with sweet peppers and it was delish! We will be going back! However the only down fall and the reason I gave 4 stars is because they don't have much my 3 year old would eat :-/

Love this place. Mari is awesome !! She delivers amazing customer service. I totally recommend this place.

  • Neil P.

I was a regular of this chain (this location and others) when I lived/worked closeby, but I hadn't been in years. It was a bit anti-climactic. Not as good as I remember...the onions were underdone and made the whole sandwich taste like onions. Cheese was confined to one little strip on one side, which led to alternate bites of lava-hot cheese and dry steak. Both my kids ordered chicken (1st time I'd seen or tried it). Neither of them finished more than 1/2 of it...very dry and overdone. I prefer the new I-80 Cheesesteaks on N. Texas. Other side of town, but a significant upgrade.

    (2)
  • Lacy S.

Yummy! Love their sandwiches! Adding the sweet and hot peppers make it that much better! A must go!

    (5)
  • Marla Jean B.

Alrite so the food was good. It could be better. It was my boyfriend's birthday and we ate here for lunch cause he gets a free one cheese steak. Why not? Got our orders wrong. Ok... Easy fix. Took 45min. to get our food back.... Makes me scared that they spit it in. So we were eating and enjoying ourselves until we hear a whole bunch of yelling and screaming in a different language going on in the kitchen. Pots and pans are banging and dropping! WTF. We look back to see what is going on and there arguing infront of customers and obviously throwing things. Haven't been their since.

    (1)
  • Christopher C.

Let me just say that this is probably the closest you can get to a legit Philly Cheese Steak besides going to Philly. Never had a problem with the customer service as they always did their job and might I add they always provide you with extra sweet peppers IF YOU ASK. Overall the food is great! Perfect texture and the peppers add a great crunch to compliment the savory meat whether you get steak or chicken. Writing this review literally has my mouth watering as we speak just writing about it. The workers are always nice. There was this sweet girl who wiped me and my friends table down before we sat down in which she didn't have to but it was greatly appreciated it. I strongly suggest going here if you're looking for some feel good food!

  • Mr. G.

This location is really clean, the people are friendly, and the cheesesteak sandwiches are delicious. So much meat, cheese, and peppers that I can barely finish a 10 incher. This is one of the better locations I've been to. If you've never been to a cheesesteak shop, you don't know what you're missing.

    (5)
  • Bud K.

If your looking for a good cheese steak this place will do the trick. I recommend the double meat and double cheese.

    (4)
  • Lisa H.

So, we have been here before and were always happy, but wow what a disappointment . We got a 15' , 10' , and a 7'( had a coupon for the 7') and, where did all the meat go? And the bun was super soggy( granted we live 5 mins away), as were the onion rings which I usually love. What happened to the awesome, stuffed flavorful cheesesteaks???

    (1)
  • Krystle H.

I love this place, lol been here so much they know me by my first name lol now isn't that a damn shame. They are super friendly here. Check It Out!! The philly cheese no words. Thinking about getting one 2night

    (5)
  • Joseph V.

Ordered the chicken philly with hot peppers and grilled onions; I thoroughly enjoyed eating this sandwich. I normally don't eat anything on white bread and smothered with cheese sauce, but this was awesome.

    (4)
  • David L.

I've been to the Pinole location and they are pretty much identical. I have never been to Philadelphia, so I won't pretend that I know everything about Cheese steak. But these are pretty tasty and filling. I don't even get the biggest size and it still manages to fill me up. It's a good place for a lunch, but the sandwiches taken about 7-10 minutes to come out, so if you are on a 30, it might take too long. Overall, the place is aiiite.

    (3)
  • Chai W.

The first time I've tried the regular cheese steak sandwich, it didn't taste so good, it was probably because of my cravings mode which at the time that certain dish would've been my last option to order. The second time I went back and ordered their Chicken Mushroom Sandwich, it was delicious!!! So depending on your cravings and your favorite dish, my experience overall for the place turned me a fan, I will definitely make a stop there whenever I'm in Suisun City. The staff were nice , customer service was great, and the price is decent.

    (5)
  • John H.

This place was pretty tasty for having either a Philly Cheese Steak or a veggie version of it with mushrooms. It was tasty, but not quite up to par with what I think a Philly Cheese Steak should be up to.

    (3)
  • Lindsey M.

I would have given this a 4, but then Little Philly in Fairfield opened and it lost a point for comparison purposes... Good sandwhiches, but rather light on the meat and onions. I'd really only go back at this point to buy Amoroso rolls and Butterscotch Krimpets for home. (Even though the Travis AFB commissary sells Tastycake, they don't sell the most famous of all their treats...?! Thank goodness for the CSS.)

    (3)
  • Nedra P.

I love this place, but the owner, Paul, made the trip exceptional with his friendly service.

    (5)
  • Michael D.

I get the hot and sweet peppers on my cheesesteak. mmmmm

    (4)
  • Carnita M.

I tried their onion rings recently - they were the beer-battered kind which I love and they tasted great! Up there with the beer-battered onion rings from Pink's Hot Dogs in Las Vegas!

  • Maria R.

Yay, we never win anything. Won a free cheese steak sandwich. Apparently they have a drawing for a free cheese steak. Sandwich was great as usual, even better since it was a treat. We both added steak fries and were happy. Customer service was great, the cashier was friendly and took our picture to put on the wall with the rest of the winners.. There are hundreds of pictures on the wall of people who won sandwiches. We seen a picture of my niece and her family on the wall. That's pretty cool, how funny is that.

    (5)
  • May L.

Friendly service. Free 10" on your birthday. They even take your picture! :) I like their onion rings. The sandwich isn't as big as I thought it would be, but it was DELISH! My advice: go ahead and buy a size larger than you really want. Just put the leftover in the fridge if you can't finish it, and then go to the gym.

    (4)
  • Marie G.

When you are craving a cheesy steak sandwich, this is the place to go! I love it here! I get the cheesesteak with spinach and mushrooms with both spicy and sweet peppers. Make sure to get a combo and get the steak fries and a drink. The steak fries are crispy on the outside, creamy potato on the inside! The owner is really friendly, keeps a clean place and workers are just as friendly as well. They have a stamp card for every $5? you spend you get a stamp and when you fill it up, you get a free sandwich. There are other days when you get double stamped and they have specials on other days too.

  • Marla B.

I usually love this place. My boyfriend and I used to walk in the heat just to eat here cause he lives a block away. We went for his birthday and he got a free sandwich!:) which I love. The people taking our order didn't seem to be in a good mood to begin with, no smiles.... Hmmm. Well, okay the food was good except they had to remake it cause they got the order wrong. Not even finished with our food, we hear yelling and screaming in another language besides English. Then hear glass breaking and pots and pans banging and clashing. My boyfriend and I look back towards the kitchen and the two ladies working we're going at it. I wish I could of voted this a 5 star place but it isn't what it used to be. It wasn't professional at all.

    (2)
  • Ryan d.

Paid another visit to this shop. I ordered the regular cheesesteak again, this time with the onions and peppers inside. Personally, I would just order them on the side. Regardless, the sandwich was still very, VERY tasty. Service was again top notch. This place has definitely become one of my favorite sandwich shops.

    (5)
  • Kyra R.

In the mood for a philly sandwich, can't go wrong here. Lots of variety depending on what you're in the mood for. My fav is the Hoagie, comes with lettuce, tomato, & mayo. If you come here often, betta get a frequent buyer card. Sundays are double stamp days..oh yeah!

    (4)
  • Katherine K.

This is my 2nd time here and it's just as good as the first time! Customer service is outstanding once again, and my sandwich came out amazing! I ordered the 10 inch Philly with roasted garlic, onions and sweet peppers (6.59). Phenomenal! Highly recommended! I also found out that Sundays are double-stamp days, so bring your frequent buyer card!!

    (5)
  • Ezra C.

I absolutely love this place. Huge fresh heaping sandwiches. The people who work there are nice and the food has never made me sick. They also offer a punch card. If you are looking for some amazing philly cheese steak, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way.

  • Theresia D.

I gave it 5 stars because I got the best customer service, as well as one of the other customer's gave me his second drink for free since he didn't need it! SO SWEET!!! So Mom's & I went here for our lunch break, especially since it's only 5 mins from our job and right next to her bank! We walked in and it was so squeaky clean, My jaw nearly touched the floor, lol! The man behind the counter (I think he was the owner or general manager) was so nice, he was smiling the entire time, it was so contagious, he made me smile, lol!!! So I had the Garlic Cheese Steak Sandwich-Comes with whole garlic cloves I love Garlic-For those Garlic lovers!!! Mommsie got the Original Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich! We both got everything on them, grilled onions, hot and sweet peppers! OMG, I almost ate the entire sandwich in one bite, I was starving, LMAO, ok ok, i'm being all Dramatical (Brianna's word)!!! But I did enhale it pretty fast thought, I would say if you aint going to Philly anytime soon then stop here!! Great service and good people, plus they give you a card that you get stamped for every $7 you spend and once you fill up the card with 15 stamps you get a 10" sandwich free!!! CAUTION: May be habit forming!

    (5)
  • Sonya C.

This place is REALLY yummy! I like to order the Garlic Cheese Steak, onions, no peppers. They use whole roasted garlic cloves... oh yes! The cheese is super gooye and drippy, The meat is on par, the bread is fresh. I get this for the guys I work with once a week and we all love it. Some of the guys get it with peppers and seem to love it. Oh, btw there are also mushroom cheese steaks and bacon cheese steaks and many more. Really good and very satisfying, but quite heavy. You may be sleepy after eating one. But, they are yummy, the staff is friendly, they have those free sandwiche stamp cards.... come on!

I have been a cheesesteak shop fan for years. I have frequented the Pittsburg and Walnut Creek locations for quite sometime. We just moved to Fairfield and I had a craving for one so I found this one as nearest to us. I called in my order and the gentleman that answered the phone was very friendly and upbeat. My sandwich was almost ready when I arrived and again the man that rang me up was very friendly. The inside was clean, the soda from the machine tasted good(the pittsburg locations one tastes like it never gets cleaned eww). When I got my food it was good. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich was as well. It was excellent and I am so glad there is a good cheesesteak shop in the area where I live now.

    (5)
  • John G.

Food was great, fresh. Pretty expensive but I would say it is worth it. Staff is pretty attentive. They may want to figure out how to speed up service though and could hook it up with some more meat. But it is pretty addicting food to say the least.

  • Cindy B.

This place has the BEST Philly cheese steak sandwiches and their onion rings are awesome as well. They are a little pricey so don't be shocked when you get your total but it's worth putting on your list to try you wont be disappointed.

    (4)
  • Liane T.

This place is one of my fave "fast food" kinda places. Mushroom cheese steak owns! It's really good, it's really tasty but not so greasy (def plus!) and filling. I know they have shops around the bay area so this is just one of the few. Oh, and make sure to get their bonus card to get a free 10" after 10 cheese steaks!

    (4)
  • Geordan L.

Employees are the nicest around! Cheese steaks are the best I've ever tried outside of Pennsylvania!

    (5)
  • William N.

This is a chain, no question. Decent, but nothing to write home about. Here is the thing: if you have never experienced an authentic philly or can't access one, this will do the trick.

    (3)
  • Petra S.

We found this place on Yelp and found out this place opened up in SF first, and tried the Walnut Creek location first. It was nice to find a steak shop that was made correctly and that used bread that was imported from Philly. I love the sweet peppers and onions in it which give it a great flavor and the soft bread. But at the Suisin location I found the bread to be not so soft and fluffy (perhaps theirs wasn't fresh or something else was wrong with it) but almost every time I went there it was harder. Anyway, I did like that you can enter in their contest here and win free cheesteak/getaways which is ended up wining a free meal for two and had our picture taken (hence the 4 stars instead of 3) But if you're mostly a fan because of the bread I recommend either the Walnut Creek or SF locations. But still a VERY satisfying and well made Philly cheese-steak nonetheless.

  • Kristine D.

great place to go while in the area if you are in the mood for cheesesteaks! i usually order the mushroom and spinach cheesesteak! you get double stamps if you are in the military!

  • Aliza M.

Okay, who's in for a great cheese steak sandwich at a reasonable price? First and foremost, I'd like to say, this is the only place I'll go for a cheese steak sandwich. I'm not so sure what it is about the sandwiches, it just tastes so great! These cheese steaks sandwiches are made from chicken, beef or, if you don't like the meat selection, vegetarian. The sizes of the sandwiches are 7", 10", and the biggest which is 15". You also have the option to add a meal deal. Small, which includes a medium drink and a choice of curly fries or steak fries and Large, which includes a large drink with the choice of a bigger portion of curly fries or steak fries, or onion rings. Onion rings only come with the large meal deal. If you prefer not to have any of the sides, you can substitute with you choice of chips! The sandwich consists of your choice of meat, regular provolone cheese, grilled onions (if you want them), hot peppers and sweet peppers. (the sweet peppers rule!) I love all the sandwiches that are on the menu, but my all time personal favorite is the regular 10" cheese steak sandwich with extra grilled onions, hot and sweet peppers, with extra sweet peppers on the side. If your a garlic lover, they have a garlic cheese steak sandwich that I highly recommend. They come with exactly the same ingredients as a regular, but with full on big chunks of garlic cloves. Get a frequency card (like all other places...)every $6 spent you get a stamp and earn a free 10" sandwich for free! (Sunday and Thursday's are double stamp days!) Not only are the sandwiches that are great, but personally; it's the service and atmosphere too. This may not be important to you, but somehow it's important to me. Knowing that the staff remembers who you are, especially by name it a great thing. They know that I'm a loyal customer, makes me want to come back more and more. The atmosphere is also great. It's very, very clean. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you ever come to the Suisun City / Fairfield area. Trust me, they have other cheese steak shop chains around California, this one just happens to be the best. .

Love it... the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The sweet peppers are just right and just about every sandwich is yummy. They have them for every pallet, mushrooms, bacon pizza style you name it. We go there at least three times per month.

ok. this place is decent for a cheesteak shop considering most folks havent had a GREAT cheesesteak from the east coast. Even dave and busters has a decent cheesteak. But the quality of meat this place uses could be better. If you ever had a cheesesteak from costco's frozen aisle, that would be how this sandwich tastes like. In need of a cheese steak fix, come here....but don't expect a Philly cheese steak or even one from NYC, but it ain't bad.

Best cheesesteaks this side of the Liberty Bell. Great people, awesome sandwiches, very affordable. I wish they were open late night!

My fiancee introduced this place to me when I came to visit her at Travis Air Force Base. This is by far the best place to eat a cheesesteak. You have your choice of steak or chicken, and I always choose the 10 inch philly cheese steak with extra onions and extra sweet peppers. The bread is soft and the steak is piping hot, allowing the provolone to melt throughout the sandwich. The staff is friendly and the dining area is clean. Be sure to ask for the loyalty card. It's free and every $6 that you spend, they stamp your card. Once you have 12 stamps, you can redeem your card for a free 10 inch cheese steak sandwich. Highly Recommended

For a local philly shop, its pretty good. I've been to Philly for the real ones and of course no where else can compare, but this place does them pretty good. the sweet peppers on them are great. If you want a little taste of philly its good.

meh. this place is coo... the sandwiches are mad greasy, which isn't a bad thing. you got a nice lil' glob of cheese and onions on top of your greased up steaks. or chicken, they have chicken too. but overall... this place is just meh... it's as greasy as taco truck food. which, again, isn't bad, but it's also not great news. it's a good place to stop in if you're curious.

I had this for dinner tonight. I can feel my breathing slowing down as my arteries slowly clog. With that being said, this is a great chain place to get a cheesesteak when you're craving one. Much better than those fast food places out there. I don't know what authentic is so I can't really compare it to the real good stuff buuuuttt it's good enough for me. I give it 4/5 just because I have to add extra cheese to it. Without the extra cheese you don't get the extra oomph to clog all of your arteries and quite honestly, it's a bit dry without it. And it's for an additional charge! Last time I checked it wasn't the A-Little-Bit-Of-Cheese-But-You-Need-To-Pay-More-For-Additional-Steak Shop. Or maybe I'm just fat who knows.

I first tried the cheese steak shop in richmond and immediately liked it, so when they finally opened one in suisun i was happy, they have great sandwiches and the sides they offer are just as good. If you want a cheese steak in the 707 this is the place to go. there's only one other place i would pick over this place if i want a cheese steak sandwich, but it's all the way in San Jose and i've gone out of my way to get one out there. that good.

Maybe it's because I lived in Pennsylvania for awhile and had a few trips over to Philly but this place is just not that good. Meat is lacking both in quality and quantity. The one saving grace for this place are its sweet peppers which tasted great on the sub but won't be enough to bring me back to this place. If you want a real sandwich in the area, head to Joe's Buffet.
